S6 could partner with The CARNEGIE HERO FUND COMMISSION, established in 1904. This organization, centered in Pittsburgh, recognizes acts of outstanding civilian heroism. The organization provides financial assistance to the awardees and the dependents of those awardees who are killed or disabled by their heroic actions.
The Commission provides a bronze medal , a financial grant, other benefits and scholarship eligibility. When the rescuer loses his or her life in the performance of the heroic act, surviving dependents are eligible for continuing aid and other benefits.
Awardees are announced five times a year, following meetings of the Commission.
The Carnegie Hero Fund Commission conducts its business through the mail. Checks and awards are mailed to heros without personal appearances. Press releases flow to PR agents while the awarded get no opportunities to make an acceptance statement in a public gathering. The commission is not into special event planning, so some partnership opportunties are present.
